What about the Rembrandt Test?
Asked by: m9650 from CANAL FULTON, OH
I have beeen employed be the same company for 18 years. I work as a Maintenance Technician.

The company has decieded to "upgrade" the skill level in the Maintenance work crew. Fifteen or sixteen men will be envolved, that service and maintain a manufacturing company of over 500 employees.

The company has already given a Cognitive test, for reading comprehension and mechanical apptitude, which I did very well on. They now want to give us a battery of eight tests that are supposed to reveal our skill level in the trade. They also want to give the Rembrandt Test, which is a Phyco Science personality test, looking at 14 diffrent personality traits. I am concerned about this test. I have been told it is a dangerous test to take and that I should talk to a Lawyer before I do take it.

What do you, the expert think? Reason to be concerned? What are the positives and negatives?

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

While there are no right or wrong answers on the individual questions, the combined answers can show a lop-sided personality. The company wants to avoid being involved with people of this type and that is justified. They have the right to give the test, so I can't see what you gain by talking to a lawyer.
Now I will reveal the secrets to doing well on the test.
