As an aside and switching into a more serious mode, I am beginning to see more Indian faces on American TV. Movies such as Bend it like Beckham and actresses such as Aishwarya Rai are starting to get a lot more attention here. She was pretty amazing in Bride & Prejudice.

I think most Americans are very realistic. As a global investor, America is the most important country in most respects, like it or not. One thing you should be aware of is that world opinion and reports of world opinion are now and always have been worse than worthless.

In general, people in the US tend to have a very limited awareness and understanding of what's going on outside the US. This isn't the case in other countries where people have a high level of understanding of what's going on around the world.

Every time I travel outside the US, I'm always impressed by the discussions I have with people about US politics, economy, and culture. They always seem to display a high level of understanding of the latest events and issues within the US society.

I don't want to sound arrogant but I feel that the reason for this phenomena is because the US is the most important market and economy which has great influence around the world. Otherwise, why would people outside the US have such great interest and opinions on the US economy and culture?

Now picture yourself living in the US. If everyone around the world is so focused on the US, if you're living in the US, isn't it normal for people to tend to focus on the US first?

As for who's the sexiest, it's silly to define the sexiest person alive. It's more hype by the media and the publicists to draw attention to their stars to get more attention for their movies. Unfortunately, these articles do get attention and in turn influences standards of beauty within the US and around the world.
