Sometimes you have to "craft" your question to get a straight answer. They are far too quick to say that they have no features blocked when our tests show that they do.
Here's what to say. "If I have a mail account on another server will I be able to both get and "send" mail through that other server?" If they say that you won't be able to send then here are your options:
If you like the ISP and want to stay there then you will have to use their outbound mail service. Ask them what to use as the outbound server. This will not change your email address for your account. In fact, people never see the name of the server you send mail through, they only see your return address. This won't hurt a thing.
