What is the best thing and worst thing about being taught by a paid tutor at home, not your parents, but a paid teacher.

The best thing is the individualized instruction.
The worst thing is the lack of socialization of the child.
My opinion is that the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. My reason is that throughout history great results have been obtained by the private tutor system.
