What is the total pressure in of the mixture after it is placed in a container

A gas mixture contains helium and oxygen at partial pressures of 255 and 0.450 .

If the pressure is in mm of Hg (mercury) and the volume is that of the oxygen then the final pressure is 255.45 mm Hg. You really don't have enough information to make this a sensible problem.
