Richard- Need a few things clarified:
Not sure what you mean by "...presets to the FM transmitter channel..." Sounds like I should be setting the XM unit to 89.9 FM from what you're saying and that isn't possible as far as I know. I'm sure that's not what you mean. Could you clarify, please? I followed the links in your answer but didn't see what I was looking for there and was hoping you could help.
Thanks,

Aux In on Audiovox XM Radio. Xpress Unit
|
I have XM radio through the Audiovox Xpress Unit. I see it has an Aux In on the left side but when I try to plug in my iPod, it plays BOTH the iPod music and the XM music. Anyone know the proper way to use the Aux In so it works?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I still haven't been able to get the audio from just my iPod to play. I'm still hearing audio from XM and from my iPod at the same time. I have a stereo 3.5mm male to male cable/connector.

First, you can use a simple double-male-end wire that has the standard mini headphone sized jack on each end. Radio Shack; about $6 or so
The Aux In only works with using the FM Transmitter. So if you have your radio wired to play through the Aux Out as I do, you still need to use the FM transmitter from the satellite radio to hear your auxilary device.
Basically I leave the wire plugged in all the time and set one of my head ...
