False Claim
Asked by: Texas_1 from -
I discovered that a former business associate of mine was stealing from my company. I chose not to press charges but the associate opted to leave the company. She in turn sued me for unfulfilled promises, none of which are true. As a result of my former associates actions, my company is all but out of business and I cannot afford an attorney. How do I fight these false claims by myself, without an attorney?

Counterclaim for the money she stole from the company! I assume you have proof! You don't need to fulfill any promises to her if she's a thief!
