Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken.

Prior to that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg. So, the egg must have come first.

If you want to believe in creationism, how do you know that God didn't create the egg first? He could have done it that way. Or maybe he created the chicken first. I don't know of any way to know.

It depends on your belief. Like if you believe God created chickens n put them there like that, then its up to you. There's no hard evidence whether the egg came first or the chicken!!

Then I realized that it was just a little chicken beating a much bigger chicken. SO... as far as my test go, the chicken always comes first and the egg just sits there. Even when a tornado hit while testing, the chicken caught more air than the egg and won again, even though I couldn't find the chicken later. (This was the ONLY time the egg even finished!)

If you drop an egg and a chicken, in a vacuum, they both seem to finish at the same time, but then the egg breaks, the chicken gets all mad and your vacuum doesn't work anymore. So that test is inconclusive.
