If it appeared to be a typo - let it go.

If not, and just mispelling - well, yeah, go ahead and correct it, send another copy with cover letter - "Revised Resume", and leave it the...

If not, and just mispelling - well, yeah, go ahead and correct it, send another copy with cover letter - "Revised Resume", and leave it there.

Normally, resumes are just looked over and not checked for spelling errors until a potential employee is located.

Then, the resume may be reviewed by the "higher ups", and picked over.

Most recently, I had submitted a resume online, and was called in for an interview. While my resume was okay, my follow up "thank you for the interview" letter was NOT. I had spelled the OWNERS last name wrong. He called me back anyway, and put me on the spot. I told him simply this:

"Oh, wow, I did spell your name wrong. That's why I am not applying for the Typist position. I can't type, but I can sell motorcycles..... when can I start?"

Got the job, and not looking back.

Take deep breaths. Its not a big deal.
