computer freezing

I have a new computer with home vista,but every time I use it ,it keeps freezing.It happens at random times without warning.What can I do?

make sure that you have all of the latest update. go to microsoft.com and check for VISTA updates. I know Vista requires a lot of ram but if it's new it should have come fully ready to go. Lots of problems have come out with VISTA.
