my wife divorced me in england in the `1`980s while i was liveing in ireland i now want to marry my partner of 25 yrs is this possible

In 1997 Ireland recognized divorce.
To marry in the Republic of Ireland, three months' written notice of the parties' intention to wed must be given to the registrar for the district in which you wish to be married.
