what is it called when you file court papers to change custody?
Asked by: Trinitysmom6 from -
We are filing for a change in custody. Our lawyer filed today and said we will have a court order by Monday. We will not have to go to court unless the other party requests a hearing. We get substantial evidence against the other party for alienating the child. We have psychologist and social worker reports stating that she has been alienated and that the other party commited perjury in the last court case. Just trying to figure out what it would be called when you file and get an answer the next day.
