Is there any part-time jobs available in the Media Industries?

I am studying Media Studies and Management, hence i would like to have some first hand experience in this industry. However i seem to have trouble finding jobs related to this industry for reasons i don't know why.
Is it because there are no part-time jobs available for this line? For example those advertising agencies, they are not looking for part-timer?
or those production houses, are they not looking for part-timers too? =/
