I love in Napa, Ca.......how long should I keep my hummingbird feeders up? I

I have 2 -1 qt containers and I'm filling them every day. Am I keeping the birds from migrating to Mexico by feeding them in Sept?

Keep your feeders filled and clean. Hanging feeders at this time of year will NOT cause hummingbirds to stay in the area longer than they should. On the contrary, your feeders will provide a quick energy source for these migrating birds.So go ahead and keep those birdies stuffed until you see the last straggler you can't stop instinct from kicking in!! :)
