If you were to get hit in the face with a baseball at 2ft in the face would it hust worst then getting hit in the face at 10ft apart?

Yes but only slightly. It's like asking would you be better off getting shot at point blank range or 10 feet away? You would but you may not appreciate the difference!

It would hurt the same but the worse one would probably be the one at 10ft as it might have gather speed which would hurt more!!
