I can't get my computer running. Not even in safe mode. Does anyone know of a simple test I can do at home toknow, if the mother board or hard drive?

(09/07/08):
The display is blank.But,the computer starts up. Fan is running,hard starting up ?not sure.

Well it certainly sounds bad... if your hard driving is running the green light will flash. Do you have a recovery disk that you can boot to?
