Ms MB, I didn't graduate from HS but received my GED without a graduation. However, if I wasn't driving in a fastlane while in HS, the school's colors were gold and blue.

We don't do that in the UK.
My university gowns vary from blue to purple to lilac to red with stripes of gold and blue.

Ours, were maroon and white, but with honors you had the gold tassels too, they made us wear some ugly shoes too! They had to be solid white like tennis shoes.
