I'm afrikaans speaking but will try to ask the question in English. Hope you understand. a guy makes a cone formed paper mug and the hight is the same as the diameter: 1. Find a formula for the volume of the mug in terms of the radius (r)
2. find mesurements for a mug that can hold 0.25liter water, pricise to 1 desimal.

The volume of a cone is 1/3 π r2 h of 1/3(area of the base) x (height). r2 means radius to be squared or to the power of 2 of r multiplied by itself and means the same in the following formula. In the case of your cone H=D where H is the height and D is the diameter. But the diameter is twice the radius. So we have to change r in the formula in terms of H. So r is half D, or r is half H.
