My dog was prescribed Metronidazole for diarrhea. Can I give her asperin?

She usually takes daily doses of Novox for pain. She is miserable without it. I was told not to give her Novox with the metronidazole. Can I resume 1 or 2 doses of Novox (or asperin)?

No i do not suggest aspirin as this drug is barely safe for humans imagine what it could do to a canine!! I mean they can't even like an onion without getting anemia!!!
