what questions can you ask a mother complaining of tiredness every morning because her 2-year old baby is waking her up at night, to determines her sleeping pattern whether it different from her normal sleeping pattern

How often does your baby wake during the night? Do you dream? If not, she doesn't go into REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Are you achy in the mornings? If so, she suffers from non-restorative sleep. Do you snore? If so, she may have sleep apnea which desturbs normal sleep patterns.
