i don't know where you are so it might be different, but in california it goes to revenue recovery for collections, they will allow you to set up a payment plan, and you would like to take care of it because if you don't it will be sent to the state board which will contact your employer and deduct up to 20 % of your wages. I'm not sure if there is a way to clear it of your credit...sorry.
