Ford Galaxy 1.9tdi, warning lights

We have a flashing warning light on the dash, it looks like a coil, does anyone know what this is please.

Having checked some forums it could be something to do with brake lights which is odd as its normally to do with the glow plug warming up when you first start the engine.
So press your brakes and ensure the lights show if not might be worth getting a mechanic to check it.

This light needs to cut out before you can start a cold diesel engine. All diesel engines have this fitted to the dash. Once the engine gets up to operating temperature this light will no longer appear when you go to restart the engine.
