I have been receiving a call a day by a warranty sales person!!! I don't even have a car!!!! If you want them to stop calling you here is a site that may help you!!

First, how are you enjoying the Olympics? Wish I was there.
Here is where you register for the national do not call list. I think you do that first. I have heard that it is losing its effectiveness. So your idea may be good.

3 years ago i changed my number to private hoping to stop the telemarketers but i still get a lot of calls.You can tell with some there is a delay in the sound and lots of telephone voises in the background and those ones are ringing direct from India.But i'e got it all worked out,i tell them i,m the housecleaner and not sure which month the owners will be back. It works really well !
