Well... I showed my little cousin how to tie shoes and throw them up onto telephone wires. To show him I used a pair of my old sneakers. I left him alone for a little bit. He came running over to me... "GUESS WHAT!!" "I DID IT!!! COME SEE!"
And there were my brand new converse... hanging from the telephone wire down the street. Being a nice aunt... my cousin's mother bought me a new pair of shoes... even though it was my fault... because I showed him. Haha....

Wife lost one in the airport in Rome. Just a wrinkle in the carpet and she went rolling. I broke security rules trying to help find it. Not smart. My Italian is not good. They did understand when my hands went straight up in the air when challenged. Finally one female security personal spoke excellent English and had pity on me and helped me out. I owe her big time.
So don't lose your shoe in an airport. They will be sure to think that was the one with the explosives in it. lol...

The first time I spent the night with my partner, I was wondering around the house looking for one of my shoes, and my partners mother bought it in.
She had found it under the clothesline along with my bra.
Great first impression.

Well, I'm known for taking off my heels after work, but the most embarrassing moment involves a more embarrassing body part.

I used to work the wedding business, and I tell you, people get rabid over that bouquet. The bride was wearing a strapless dress, and she bent way over to give that toss some power, and indeed she did--but popped out of her dress in doing so.
