I would buy you a house plant or if you had a big yard a small tree for your yard. That way you would think of me every time you watered the plant or raked the leaves.

O dear, I am always clueless when it comes to buying a gift! I always take the easy way out. Your gift from me is a Visa Personalized Gift Card with a surprise $ value. Then you can purchase whatever you wish for your new house. Maybe you would have some left overs funds to buy your "backhoe guy" treats! :-)

Hello,
First off, It really depend on the person's interests.

Some things you could look at:
Wall Plaques - They make a nice addition to any home, and most of the time you can find them at a reasonable price online, or even at your local department stores.

A small aloe Vera plant is always good. Aloe Vera is said to help in healing of burns. Any plant will always be a reminder of your thoughtfulness.

I would buy a rubbish bin with a big red bow on top and inside would be all the small basics that would be needed...such as pegs, hooks, screws, cooking utensils, floor mats, etc etc...all that sort of stuff...i would chuck in all those little things that nobody else would think of! You wouldn´t have to go shopping!
