Computer sees wireless router but not the internet

A PC in my home sees the wireless network but will not connect to the internet through the cable modem connected to the wireless router.
Additional Details added
(08/16/08):
I attempted to renew the the IP address but the remote computer would not acquire one.

Check the SNR. Much below 6 and you'll get diddly. Try turning the router off and on again.
