filing taxes married and s corp
Asked by: ann27 from -
i have an s corp and i'm the only employee, hence i pay myself a reasonable salary. what money do i pay taxes on the s corp. i know i pay personal taxes but is all the money left in the s corp taxable. also i just go married so does the accountant need his info to determine what taxes i need to pay. could we file separate even thoug we're married and what's the pros or cons. I take enough out for taxes but he may owe at the end of the year.

Your accountant needs the information that you are married. Your CPA really needs to go over your situation and advise you. You can save a lot on taxes by being smart and you can pay an enormous amount extra fy not knowing what you are doing.
Here is a site with a little help.
