Can you tell me where to look for a filter on a Lennox A/C Unit?
Asked by: bfulks from -
I am a real estate agent and I sold my buyers a house that has a Lennox Central Air unit located on the roof and they have a different kind of heat (steam). They can't seem to find the filter to the central air unit. I don't know the model or serial #. Can you give me some idea where to have them look?

It should be on the return air side of the system, but there could be one or more filters on the system. I have only one filter located in the return air vent in my livingroom wall. I have also seen the filter on the duct that attaches to the unit on the roof. Have them check the duct for removable cover on the side or top of the duct. It could be covered with tape.
