serious side effects after hormone injections for prostate cancer

my husband has monthly hormone injections for prostate cancer, he is suffering severe side effects along with the usual side effects, severe effects are vomiting ,diaorrea,, swollen ankles, loss of appetite,constant tiredness,nausia,frequent urinating [urine is a dark orange colour] sometimes there is blood in his urine,after his last check up at hospital he was told his liver is enlarged,the whites of his eyes are yellow and his skin has a yellow tinge to it.

Hormone treatment for prostate cancer reduces the levels of testosterone and andogens, which promote the risks of prostate cancer. The symptoms your husband is experiencing may not be side effects of the treatment. It may mean the cancer has spread outside the prostate, and now there is liver and/or pancreatric involvement.
