I officially retired at the end of June! Today I was offered a job doing speech therapy with a sixteen year old autistic boy! Should I take it, or sit back and enjoy my retirement? I really need your input! I'm now doing 'each one teach one' - volunteer work teaching illerate adults how to improve their reading skills. Help!!!!

Well, how much of your time would you need to put into this new job? If it's just a few hours a week, it wouldn't be bad. But, then again, you are already doing volunteer work. Helping an autistic child with communication could be very rewarding. But, I'm sure you're enjoying your retirement. How about making a list of pros and cons for each decision. If the pros of taking the job outweigh the cons, maybe you should take it. If not, just chill out in your retirement. Best wishes, Diva....
