Driving Hazards!

When I began driving a car, there were no seat belts, no air bags, no car seats, no booster seats - there were tires with inner tubes, two lane highways, lots of long winding dirt roads, single lane bridges, and people would drive after drinking. Why am I still alive, and why are there more fatal car accidents now per capita than there was back then?

The biggest thing now is that we hear more about it because of the massive media coverage and the extreme need by people to sue someone. When I grew up we only got 3 channels on our TV and that was on a good night!
