If you sold the car with no warranty (AS IS) then the buyer cannot demand that you return the money. If you made claims to the buyer as to the condition of the car or if you placed an ad saying "Like new", "Runs Perfect" or made any claims that the car has no problems, then they may be able to sue you in court for the return of the money.
