Help with Mitsubishi TV

I can turn on the TV, but after that it won't respond to any buttons on the remote or on the panel. Then if I try to shut it off, it won't, until about 15 seconds later when it just shuts off itself. I tried pressing the system reset button, but it doesn't work.

If you're using the remote, I can assume that the signal is not going to the T.V. as it should, or that the remote is simply not working. Also I can deduce that you might have not actually programmed the remote to the T.V. thus I would call Mitsubishi to get that programmed (or it could be in the manual). To program a remote, its just a series of button holding, and then button pressing.
