Collecting for non-medical home care services from Medicare

I have been told that if I want to take care of my mother who is homebound with Alzheimers disease I can be compensated for my care just as other caregivers. I need to know how to go about doing this. I have quit my job to take care of her and any extra income I could get would be helpful.
