The Tappan Zee Bridge connects Nyack in Rockland County and Tarrytown in Westchester county, and crosses the Hudson River in New York. It was built in 1955.

The only thing I can add, is that the toll booth is on the eastern side and that it's ridiculously expensive (as are all the bridges and tunnels to New york city, ...and I know all the blah, blah, blah about maintenance etc.) considering the millions of times per year commuters have to cross it to go to work. It should have never gone over a buck, it's monopolistic gouging in my opinion....
