You would know if you're legally divorced. You would have to sign the final divorce decree. Even if you're not, you have rights to visitation with your kids. Visitation is usually stated in a legal document after you have been legally separated from your spouse. If not, make sure it is! Also, make sure you financially support your kids. The amount you must pay is also decided in the documents of legal separation!

Try going to court and filing a petition for visitation and go from there.
