No! "as is" means just that! Whatever problems you have with your rental, then you have to fix it! Signing a one year lease is not the smartest route to take when you have to make all the repairs! When you leave, your landlord benefits, and you don't get your money back for any repairs you made. You can however default on the lease because the rental is in disrepair, without penalty! Check with the tenancy board in your area, and see what your options are!...
