I love my cat dearly, and she is a part of my family, as an animal who is cherished, not equivalent to my children!

Absolutely yes they are part of the family ,which can be very annoying at times. But if you take in an animal it's for life. Sometimes i wonder why i ever did it but i did and thats it.

My mother used to call her dogs my sister or brother. I always went along with it. You know, pets have emotions, and get sick just like we do! They can have diabetes and arthritis and regular people problems! I figure if they have to go through the same crap we do, they should be recognized! Some say they don't have a soul, but I believe God loves animals. I think there is a special place for them.... :-)

Yes I do. My cat has a very distinctive personality and is very loving. Unfortunately, she's getting up in years, so she won't be around much longer. I'll be very upset when she passes on. Seeing my cat everyday puts a big smile on my face!!
