You have to tend to these saplings often until their roots spread out in the underlying soil. Most of them will take root, but you may lose some, so plant more that the number of trees you really want. Once they begin to grow, make sure they are secured so as not to break in the wind! In another year, you'll see them get stronger, and you've begun your tree-planting process! Good luck!

Make sure the seeds are very dry then just shove them into the freezer for 2 weeks. (in a bag or bowl with nothing else added ) Then propogate seeds in a good mix in a warm place. If a warm place isn't possible that doesn't matter, it will just take longer thats all..When the seedlings are a couple of inches high pot on seperatly and they will be ready for fertiliser. When they are at least 1 foot high then go planting , with big holes filled with good potting mix.This rule applys to any tree and really is quite simple....
