I know you love your cat, and I wish I could give you a better answer! Your cat is in pain, and that's not likely to go away. The kindest thing you could do is have him put to sleep! He isn't going to get better, and there's a lot of suffering ahead. Love him enough to let him go peacefully! I'm so sorry this had to happen!

You have my sympathies. And give your cat the best last night of its life -- when we had a warning about another dog we had to euthanize, she had a pound of ground turkey for dinner and slept in our bed.
