I think it's money. Too many people are living BEYOND their means.... Houses too big. Mortgages too big. Can't really afford the boat or the gas. Can't afford the private school but it's all about keeping up with the Jones' or Smith's or whomever. So it's all one big fat freaking lie. We are living in a paycheck-to-paycheck society but most people in the biggest of houses won't admit it.

I am a man that has been around a bit. And what I have seen and heard from a lot of people is lot of crap. Saying they can do something but when it comes the time to do it they ruddy well cannot do it. They think they are some one who knows it all but they know nothing. The topic is about !!!!!, (MENS PRIDE).

I would have to say people don't tell the truth about work. It's lie, and lie some more on that topic. Who did the most "work" on whatever "project", who actually didn't do diddly on said "project", people lying about why they can't come in to work, people who say "I'll be right back... I need to get a file" and are gone for 2 hours...

I think people tend to exaggerate their abilities. Like, the guy who always catches the biggest fish, or the smart person that claims to belong to MENSA. I think some people really try to make themselves out to be superheroes. Why, I don't know. If you have special abilities, then I think it's okay to modestly mention it. But, some people embellish a bit too much.
