2:56 UTC July 21, 1969, when Neil Armstrong MIS-stated the the line "That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind." as he planted his left boot on the surface of the moon. The problem was he left out the [A] and that changed the meaning of his statment! rendering the phrase a tautology, as man in such use is synonymous with mankind.
