advice on brand licensing

I would like some legal advice on obtaining a license to produce a UK based clothing brand in South Africa. What sort of share would the licensee in the UK be entitled to.

If what you have in mind is a vertical franchise, I don't think they will be interested in shares. They will want a fee up front and regular and that will depend on the fame of the brand.
If, as you said, it is just a production facility, then the fee would be based on the production complicated by demand for the product.
The fees can be a percentage, fixed or sliding.
You never do this without the advice of a lawyer who specializes in this....
