I have a nextel sprint motorola model # ic 502 do i need to set a different ringtonein order for me to know when i get a private call ? r it is automatically set to ring different from the other calls if it is private?

It should be! If you have your regular contacts programmed into your phone contacts, then private, or unknown calls should have a different ring, not the one you selected, but just an ordinary ring!
