McCain would not be eligible to be an American president if he were not a natural born citizen. However, since McCain was born in the Canal Zone of American parents, while the American flag flew over that territory and the American government administrated over the territory, then he's an American and natural born! No-one stopped him in the past due to his birthright ( or lack of it) I don't think there's a case against his Candidacy.

Actually, he was born in Panama, the son of American citizens, and at the time of his birth, Panama was controlled by the U.S.. By birth he is an American citizen, and he can run for president! (he won't win! lol)
