You are the Judge: What should the punishment be for someone who " hurts " or " kills" a child?

I assume in "hurts" you mean molested??? or just plain physical attack lol well i would say they deserve the death penalty if the child is killed or if it's just hurt they get a life sentence (is that speeled correctly??) OR if what they did is just too horrible to even talk about it i would say torture then death but that's just me! I do say this crime has been happening quite often!!!!

There just isn't a severe enough punishment. How do you even out a life cut short, fear, pain and anguish felt by a child who trusted people, never thinking someone would hurt them, not to mention the agony and loss experienced by the child's parents, family members and friends. There is nothing. God will deal with that person. He would know what is best.

Personally I would love them to get the death penalty. But death row inmates are kept in isolation for the most part. I think that they should have child molester or child murderer tattooed on their foreheads and then be put in with the general population. When I was in the second grade we had a teacher that molested a bunch of the male students and he ended up going to jail. as far as i am concerned,the molester or "person" who committed the act,should be given to the child's parents and family to do with as they will with absolutely NO repecussions from the law.If the family decides to kill them at leisure over a period of days,then so be it!Why should the S.O.B have a trial and then receive jail time wher he is allowed television,3 meals and snacks a day,cigarettes and a pay for "working" in jail.Tell me what kind of punishment that is?We all know that the p***k will b...

An eye for an eye is not the answer. I will never award this person easy death. He/she must realize life long that what he/she did was wrong and be punished life sentence at Guantanamo Bay detention camp where he/she will not have any one to talk to him/her in English and he/she will be learning lifelong Arabic to communicate.
