Can God have a gang?

My childhood buddy who I usta "party" with, found God in prison and now he is gang-ho for God with his prison buddies, and their belief is if you don't believe in Christianity they'll talk you into it or probably beat it into you, I've spoken with him and he seems to say all the right things. I'm starting to believe in this myself.
Is this really religion??????
And is that going to get him into heaven or hell?

I believe your friend has found the Lord, and is extremely excited about it. I think he wants you to feel the way he does and have the relationship with God that he has. I think his "gang" of believers are his church of believers. There is a brotherhood there, based on devotion to Christ. I'm glad you're starting to believe what he says. He is definately saving a place for himself in Heaven.

Right on the money, gangs come in every form. There are good and bad gangs. Look at L.A.P.D., bunch of hoodlums. |

If he really believes and has a relationship with God then [I believe] he will most definately go to heaven. I am glad to hear that he has turned a bad situation into a positive outcome. Maybe you should listen. You might just hear something that makes a LOT OF SENSE :-)

Religeon is great for maintaining comportment and regimentation. If your buddy's " beefy,beating bretheren" intend to maintain order through religeon without menace, they'll have an uphill climb. At one time or another, most of the organized religeons of the world have applied corporal negative enforcement ( or the threat of it) in order to accumulate membership... and it works. Well, we always say "THE GOD". That means it is the only one.
We all don't know anything about it. If we can consider that the God have a gang, then we may come to the conclusion that the gang of God is all the objects in the universe, 'caz we always say that God is everywhere.

Whatever works for ya, go for it! When you think of it, church congregations are gangs - they all believe in the same thing, and they try to convert other people. Religion takes many forms! Belief in a power higher than yourself is religion, even if you never darken a church door. If your beliefs give you peace of mind, and the power of positive thinking - it's all good!
