This is a story behing this song. It started in DaySpring Ministries, in Middletown, Pa. I joined the church after spending a year in rehab for a head injury. The pastor and I did not get along. Because of a head injury, my speech was affected, and I appeared to be slow of any mental capabilities. However I stuck it out for 15 years. I made friends, but I also made a lot of people who called me friend? Know what I mean? I went through the gaulet of leadership from the pastor, to the last man who sign the attendence sheet. God saw me through. Then then pastor's daughter joined DaySpring. She and I did not get along also. Her name is Micheele Brown. The pastor is Clifford Ashe. One day the pastor and his daughter, got into it. She left, she quit. He ran after her, he claims-but only saw her dust as her van charged down the road. The reason they argued was because he says she was using his church, "God's church to promote her on ministry-"He Reigns". Now she is unemployed, 4 hungry mouths, to feed, and labeled as a traitor! Well God has a sense of humor now she and I are friends, and hopefully you are reading this to the tune of HE REIGNS, and somehow you are blessed, she is blessed, and He is glorified. And that her daady, Pastor makes amends. Thanks for sharings.
