A woman was standing next to me doing the same thing. She asked me what size the dresses were, so I told her! She grabbed them from me, almost knocking me over, and headed for the check-out! She was much younger than me, and I thought she was a nasty ass bully!...

Yes, when I was in second grade, these high school girls used to wait for me on my street, on my way home from school. They would crowd around me, and take my books and threaten me. I never told anyone. One day, they just stopped appearing on my street. I don't know what ever happenned to them. Hopefully, they all got hit by a bus. ( just kidding........kinda.)

I was bullied as a child in grade school for a variety of reasons. I think it started as an ingrained subconcious, fear of my interactions with others kids that led to :

1) Saw a therapist about some good old fashioned therapy.

I was bullied as a child in grade school for a variety of reasons. I think it started as an ingrained subconcious, fear of my interactions with others kids that led to :

1) Saw a therapist about some good old fashioned therapy.

2) Reframed the perspective in which I lived and gave myself credit then actively found myself in positive qualities. Back in my mind, I would asked myself--can kids really be this mean? It was their insecurities and they wayl they'd lived.

3) Sometimes, I had those panic attacks. I needed to calm don and get stabilized. It was recommended that I see a psychiatrist in addion to the therapist. I had to baseline yourself and "build" a foundation for healing emotionally. Medicine will jumpstart for those panic attacks if they were severe. Therapist never said "medicine for life" but I would think so. because I needed time to get baseline and start to heal from those past frustrations that have created intense inner turmoil for at least 2 years.

Years went by, I have had overcome those panic attacks.

I'm ashamed to say that I haven't really been bullied, except for that one day in my life when this kid punched my in the stomach lol. Yeah, but I was okay, was stuck in my chair in school so couldn't really counter-strike :P

I'm ashamed because I really wanna take those bullies down :|
Take them down as in try to friendly tell them to stop to the limit, then ...

I was always a very little petite girl. I don't ever remember being bullied. I remember being picked on in a fun way but not bullied. Some of these stories made me sad.

I had very few friends, being an only child with an over protective mother, and I very often found myself wandering around alone during recess and lunch.

That was the routine, so I was removed from the school, and placed elsewhere, where I did very well, and forgot all about my bully.
Untill we were placed into the same high school.
She was still big, but I'd grown up too.
On the very first day she approached me, and before she could get a word out, I had tackled her to the ground, and beaten the life out of her.
I felt sick, but somewhat proud of myself, untill I was called to the principals office.
There she was with her mum, and her doctor.
Turned out that she was slightly autistic.
Thats right folks, I had beaten up an autistic girl.
Apparently she had approached me to apologise for all of the torment she had caused me, and that was how I'd responded, nice huh?.
I have never really forgiven myself for that, and it was 15 years ago, but it did teach me a damn good lesson.
Never judge a book by it's cover.
And never throw the first punch!!.

No i have not been bullied but there were some occasions where it almost got to bullying but i put a stop to it, i won't say how i did it, but i will just say i can be VERY VERY EVIL!!!!!!

In any event, from about 8 years old I became the "shove around", "shove down" and/or punching bag to boys who were generally older than I, or who were in groups of 2 or more. To walk ( more like sprint) home from school I'd prepared two or three different evasive routes that went through wooded areas, behind stores, through back yards, and even in between town buildings.
Often, I would wait after school closing time for about 10 to 15 minutes, just inside the school's glass doors, in order to spot the potential predators ( who generally were lying in wait just off the school grounds).
Once identified, I would leave by a door at the opposite side of the school, hop over the fence and take one of my round about routes back home.
A few times, my single parent mother talked with a number of the bullies' parents about their son's activities. In those days no-one ever called the authorities about a black-eye or bloody nose. Well, not only did the bullying fail to stop, but the bullies ( furious for having been sanctioned ) now used the "sissy-fied" maternal intervention as a rallying cause for recruiting new bullies to their ranks and increased the persecution.
The Bullying only stopped soon after a new Phys.Ed. teacher saw me doing my cat and mouse act behind the glass doors one afternoon. He called me to his office the following day and had a long talk with me. I was 12 years old.
Within a few days of this very revealing talk, I was "on the team" learning all about FOOTBALL, working out, getting mean, getting dirty, bloody and gritty and finding myself ( during Phys.Ed period and after school sports) frequently face-to-face, on the opposite sides of my old antagonists.
Once my former bullies found themselves thumped, and dumped on their butts game after game by me, suddenly, I was no longer called by my first name in a mocking tone. No longer was I bothered or "hunted" by those "toughs" who were not in sports or in my grade level. Like magic, I was new and improved, "re-invented"! I was now given and commonly called by a non- pejurative aberration of my last name. Hmmmmm.
Oh, about that "revealing talk". My coach, whom I'd only known by his last name, which was of Italian origin, informed me that he too had suffered the aggressions of bullies as a young boy because he was called "Sally" . Sally? Yes, Sally. ...but later on, he explained, because he'd joined the football team, they called him by his full name ..."Salvatore".

yes, in school I had this guy who liked my girl, he was pretty big and thought i would back down and be humiliated in front of my girl and the whole school, he was dead wrong and probably still lookin for his teeth, poor fella.
