what can i do when i jointly own a property with some one

i lived in this property for 5 years with her she has a daughter by another man. she will not move out, i want to sell but she dont. she cant afford the morage payments and im out renting, when buying this property i put 34k down she put nothing, i dont want to loose it all

as she has accepted the 10k but we have to move out of where we are renting on the 16 and she wont move out untill the 20th and she will not let me move back in or even store my own stuff in my house, i no she has no right to say that but i just not sure what i should do ?HELP

I'm assuming your name is on the deed? Speak with the institute holding the morgage to see if they have any advice first. Unfortunently you moved out, that might hurt you in the end, especially when she has a kid. Your not married I guess so at best you might be considered common law. Don't laugh but the phrase " squatters rights " comes to mind. You need to get a lawyer quietly and quickly for the best advice for the laws in your area. why would she want to sell.... she has it made. I agree you should get an attorney. I don't care if you live there or not - you own the property too and you have rights as a home owner. I think that it will help your case that the child is not yours. I know you don't want harm for the child but maybe they can be talked into finding a rental property.
